Doreen Schwegler is a Medical Scientist and Naturopath with over 36 years of experience using integrative medicine to optimise wellness. She has a specialised interest in addressing chronic UTIs, interstitial cystitis and prostatitis after training with Ruth Kriz. This involves looking at the underlying ‘drivers’ behind these complex conditions including MicrogenX and genetic risk factor testing, biofilms, pH levels, nutrition, stress, sleep and diet.
She offers mostly virtual consults via Zoom or phone and some face-to-face consultations mostly in Mosman, Sydney and also Melbourne. Her approach is thorough, evidence-based and comprehensive with patient questioning and the option of extensive investigations and assessments that may include genetic profiling (testing DNA predispositions); pathology, comprehensive stool, hair, blood and urine tests.
How it works:
Make an initial appointment online (email me if you’d like to go on the waiting list for an earlier appointment)
I send you a comprehensive questionnaire and you email me any testing you have had done in the past 12 months
I review all this before our consult (there is an charge for this depending on how many tests are done @ $140 per 30minutes)
I email you recommendations for extra tests to be done prior to seeing me if needed (either through your GP or privately).
The the consultation we’ll discuss all this info and you’ll receive a clear action plan moving forward
Follow up appointments are made as needed and charged per the time taken.
Rebates if you have extras that cover Naturopathy consults with private health insurance will be available some time later in 2025 TBA.
